Director of People and Culture
Job Description
High Profile has partnered with our non-profit client, located in East Dallas, to find a dynamic Director of People and Culture. The person in this role will be responsible for the strategic vision of company culture, people resources & policies. They will develop, drive, and execute key People & Culture initiatives such as talent acquisition, coaching & training, performance management and change management. The ideal candidate will be eager to jump in and influence change, thrive in a fast-paced environment, love a challenge, and most of all enjoy building meaningful relationships with their employees. This is an in-office role with no remote or hybrid work options available.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required
- 7+ years of progressive People/HR experience with at least 3 years of experience leading a team of People/HR professionals
- Previous non-profit HR management experience required
- Current SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
- Experience in creating & implementing People programs, policies, and best practices
- Previous experience with HR systems such as ADP or similar
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with budget development, compensation and benefits administration, employee and labor relations, talent management, employee engagement, workforce development, and organizational initiatives relating to and/or impacting human resources
- Strong knowledge of federal and state laws that affect HR policies and procedures, including EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA and other regulatory and compliance laws
- Knowledge of TX Labor laws required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Must feel comfortable presenting information to all levels of the company
- Must be proficient in problem solving, conflict resolution, and documentation
- Must be able to manage/prioritize multiple tasks, work under pressure and be organized (attention to detail)

Jennifer grew up in Dallas before attending Texas A&M University. She began her career as a corporate HR Generalist for 7 years and leveraged her experience to develop a deep understanding of talent needs. She then transitioned her skills to a local staffing firm, specializing in Accounting/Finance and Administrative placements. High Profile recruited her in 2001. For more than 23 years, Jennifer has been known locally as the “go-to” professional for temporary and temp-to-hire administrative support. She is now utilizing her expertise to manage our Human Resources placement division. Her background in Human Resources, combined with her keen eye for talent and understanding of her client’s needs, has led to her reputation for excellence within the staffing industry.
Jennifer also serves as High Profile’s Vice President of Talent Acquisition. She is actively involved with DallasHR, as well as the American Staffing Association’s Section Policy Council. Jennifer has earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional), and CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) certifications.
Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her amazing daughter and friends, traveling, conquering projects around the house, and keeping up with her 4-legged fur-babies.
