Accountant
Job Description
High Profile has partnered with our client to find an Accountant to join a highly engaged portfolio accounting team, responsible for the financial reporting of the portfolio entities within our clients separate investment structures. This involves oversight of investment valuations and the financial statement close process, as well as financial statement review and analysis. The team works closely with the Investor Accounting team that is responsible for reporting investor-level activities including capital flows, income allocations, fee calculations, performance, account statements, and fund-level financial statements. The team also engages with the Controller and CFO and coordinates with numerous groups across the firm including front office personnel, internal legal counsel, operations, treasury, technology, the external administrator, and external auditors.
Job Requirements
- Prior audit experience with a Big 4 accounting firm required
- Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance with an impressive GPA (3.5 or higher)
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to adapt to new technology
- Able to use analytical skills to understand numerical relationships
- 2-4 years experience as an Accountant
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Those who have demonstrated their technical knowledge by passing the CPA exam or intend to pursue CPA certification are strongly preferred

She began her career as a corporate HR Generalist for 7 years and leveraged her experience to develop a deep understanding of talent needs. She then transitioned her skills to a local staffing firm, specializing in Accounting/Finance and Administrative placements. High Profile recruited her in 2001. For more than 23 years, Jennifer has been known locally as the “go-to” professional for temporary and temp-to-hire administrative support. She is now utilizing her expertise to manage our Human Resources placement division. Her background in Human Resources, combined with her keen eye for talent and understanding of her client’s needs, has led to her reputation for excellence within the staffing industry.
Jennifer also serves as High Profile’s Vice President of Talent Acquisition. She is actively involved with DallasHR, as well as the American Staffing Association’s Section Policy Council. Jennifer has earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional), and CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) certifications.
Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her amazing daughter and friends, traveling, conquering projects around the house, and keeping up with her 4-legged fur-babies.
