Accounting Analyst

Job Description
High Profile has partnered with our client to find a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst. This position offers the opportunity to work 100% remotely, supporting the Director of Operational Analysis in monitoring and analyzing operating results and pro forma variances for a portfolio of 60+ multi-family properties.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to compile and analyze data effectively
- Collaborate with acquisition departments to review new property financials, identify discrepancies, and propose solutions
- Conduct in-depth analysis akin to forensic accounting, ensuring accuracy and precision in financial reporting
- Demonstrate proficiency in Yardi Voyager and other relevant property management software
- Think creatively and outside the box to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Work closely with stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations based on analytical findings
Job Requirements
- Advanced Excel skills with a proven ability to handle complex data sets
- Minimum 3 years experience in property management accounting
- Full knowledge of Yardi (Voyager or Breeze) software
- Minimum 2-3 years reviewing financials of multi-family properties
- Proven experience in pro forma analysis
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with financial forecasting
- Experience comparing pro forma to financial statements
- CPA (or CPA candidate)
