Assistant Tax Director | Financial Services | Uptown Dallas | In-Office
High Profile has partnered with a prestigious global investment firm to find an Assistant Tax Director for its high-performing Uptown Dallas office. This is an in-office position offering the opportunity to work closely with top financial professionals across the U.S. And abroad.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-level tax consulting on fund investments and advise on complex matters across U.S. And foreign jurisdictions.
  • Oversee preparation and review of U.S. And international tax returns with accuracy and insight.
  • Manage Form 1099 and 1042 reporting and tax depreciation processes.
  • Monitor ASC 740 tax exposure and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with accounting, legal, operations, and external advisors to design and implement effective tax structures.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory and industry developments to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (GPA 3.5+)
  • Active CPA
  • 10+ years of relevant tax experience:
    • Public accounting tax experience with Financial Services or Hedge Fund clients OR
    • Tax consulting experience within the Financial Services industry supporting fund investments
  • Proven track record preparing US & International tax returns, tax depreciation & ASC 740 tax exposure
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Stacey grew up in Mississippi and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she majored in accounting. After college,  she joined Deloitte & Touche in their audit practice. While there, Stacey earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. After 6 years spent auditing in both New Orleans and Dallas, she left to go work for Robert Half as a Recruiter in their accounting and finance permanent placement division. After Robert Half, she started her own tax practice while staying home with her two daughters. The next 9 years she spent in the private sector as a Controller, and realized her love and passion was for recruiting and providing  quality customer service. In 2024, after 3 years of recruiting for reputable staffing agencies, she joined High Profile as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant.

Stacey has 25 years of experience in the accounting & recruiting industries. This experience and her active CPA certification give her invaluable resources for both candidates and clients. She is passionate about matching top talent with rewarding career opportunities in organizations where professionals can grow and thrive.

Outside of work, Stacey loves to spend time with her husband Keith, their 2 grown daughters, their sweet puppy Maggie, and close friends! She enjoys traveling, entertaining, and cooking with her husband!
