Accounting Specialist

Job Description

High Profile has partnered with our client to find an Accounting Specialist for a contract assignment (with the potential to transition to permanent employment). The Accounting Specialist will support all members of the team on a variety of administrative accounting tasks, primarily the follow up of invoices that may become past due. Main responsibilities will be to ensure all invoices have been properly directed for approval and then payment. This is an in-office role where a discretionary annual bonus is possible, but not guaranteed and entirely based on performance.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounts payable / accounts receivable experience
  • Knowledge of basic accounting practices
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly with Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • Impeccable responsiveness and follow-through
  • Deltek software experience preferred

For more than 23 years, Jennifer has been known locally as the “go-to” professional for temporary and temp-to-hire administrative support. She is now utilizing her expertise to manage our Human Resources placement division. Her background in Human Resources, combined with her keen eye for talent and understanding of her client’s needs, has led to her reputation for excellence within the staffing industry.

Jennifer also serves as High Profile’s Vice President of Talent Acquisition.  She is actively involved with DallasHR, as well as the American Staffing Association’s Section Policy Council.  Jennifer has earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional), and CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) certifications.

Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her amazing daughter and friends, traveling, conquering projects around the house, and keeping up with her 4-legged fur-babies.
