Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description
High Profile has partnered with our client to find an A/P Specialist for a contract assignment, with the possibility to transition to permanent employment. The person in this role will play a vital role in the efficient and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. This individual will ensure that all invoices are reviewed, approved, and processed in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and financial guidelines. The ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders will contribute to maintaining positive vendor relationships and optimizing the accounts payable process.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelor's Degree a plus
- 2+ years experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role
- Proficiency in using financial management systems, billing software, and MS Excel
- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles, financial processes, and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage large volumes of invoices and payments
- Familiarity with telecommunications industry practices and accounts payable systems a plus
