Assistant Controller
Job Description
High Profile has partnered with our client to find an experienced and detailed Assistant Controller. The person in this role will have 5 direct reports and a total team of 14. Primary duties include annual audit preparation, maintaining the general ledger, analysis of monthly GL activity, supervising accounting department employees, and ensuring accounting practices are compliant with established accounting principles. This role is 100% in-office, in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- 10+ years experience in Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller role
- Hands-on experience with GL, GAAP, and supervising A/P, A/R & payroll
- Experience working with large platform ERP systems, e.g. Oracle, Sage 300, SAP, IFS
- Construction industry experience highly preferred
- Advanced Excel and math skills
