Contract Collections Specialist
Job Description
High Profile has partnered with our client to find a detail-oriented Collections Specialist for a contract role (lasting approximately 6 months). The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing tasks related to the reconciliation project within the Accounts Receivable department. This includes working closely with the legal department on researching and interpreting complex contract terms, engaging with customers to recover outstanding payments, and ensuring all receivables are accurately accounted for. By utilizing your strong analytical skills and attention to detail, you will contribute to maintaining positive customer relationships and optimizing the company's cash flow. This role is 100% in-office.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in using billing software, such as SAP, Oracle, and MS Excel, to accurately manage invoices and financial data
- Familiarity with electronic payment processing systems and online billing platforms, facilitating efficient payment management
- 3-4 years experience in accounts receivable, collections or a similar financial role
- Familiarity with telecommunications industry practices and billing systems desirable
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
- Must utilize a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, navigating complex payment scenarios and finding effective resolutions
