Controller
Job Description
High Profile has partnered with our client to find an experienced and dynamic Controller to join their team as a trusted partner to the CFO and executive leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leading accounting teams through periods of growth, change, acquisitions, and integration. They will bring extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, acquisition analysis, and systems improvements. This role is integral to supporting company initiatives, driving process improvement and automation, and ensuring robust financial operations.
As Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and take ownership of the company’s accounting functions, while building and managing a high-performing team. You will engage with the senior management team to translate strategic plans into actionable growth strategies for the accounting function. Additionally, you will develop and manage metrics to enhance business performance and ensure that the infrastructure and business processes are in place to support continued growth and market expansion. Operationally, you will perform detailed analyses of sales, margins, OPEX, and other metrics by service line and key customers, interpreting and communicating findings to stakeholders. You will maintain relationships with financial institutions, develop cash flow projections, and ensure robust controls for inventory and related procedures.

Experience working with private equity firms is highly valued, and Big 4 audit experience is strongly preferred.

Job Requirements
- BA or BS Degree; CPA required. Advanced degree a plus
- Minimum 10+ years of financial leadership, at least 5 of which in a senior capacity
- Big 4/Public Accounting audit experience preferred
- Experience with advanced data analytics and tools (Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) preferred
- Hands-on involvement with the business integration of financial systems and the optimization of operational analysis
- Track record of creating and implementing financial reporting procedures and metrics for an organization; formalizing budgeting processes, financial analysis, and creating meaningful financial KPIs and dashboards
