The Funding Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of funding proceeds payable to dealer partners. This role focuses on contract structuring related to customer billing and sales tax, while ensuring compliance with all credit conditions. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams, dealerships, and customers nationwide.

What You’ll Do

• Facilitate accurate contract funding at inception, including contracts designated as special-handling accounts for large customer groups
• Communicate effectively with dealerships and internal relationship managers to provide ongoing updates on large or complex funding activity
• Maintain integrity and control of commercial retail and lease contracts, ensuring deal structures meet legal and business requirements
• Support new customer onboarding by creating and maintaining master data, including detailed customer and asset information
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of customer records in accordance with established business procedures
• Serve as the primary liaison with dealerships across the United States to coordinate completion of required documentation
• Accurately enter contract data and customer-specific requirements into a leasing system for proper account maintenance
• Validate contract rates and special programs in alignment with published financial guidelines
• Identify discrepancies in deal structures at contract inception and recommend process improvements to prevent future issues
• Assist in developing standardized desk procedures to improve consistency and minimize errors
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.G., Kaizen) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across funding processes
• Develop a strong understanding of the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from origination through administration
