High Profile has partnered with our client to find an Investment Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting functions related to the company’s investment portfolios. This position requires expertise in investment accounting, strong organizational and leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across departments to deliver accurate financial reporting and maintain compliance. The successful candidate will be detail-focused, proactive, and adept at balancing the technical and operational aspects in investment accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting for diverse investment types, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative assets
• Ensure all investment transactions and valuations are recorded accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to accounting standards and company policies
• Prepare and review comprehensive investment-related financial reports, such as portfolio performance analyses, valuations, and investment summaries
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth annual audit processes and maintain the integrity of financial reports
• Develop and enforce internal controls and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory and accounting standards (e.G., GAAP, IFRS)
• Monitor compliance with investment policies and accounting frameworks, ensuring consistent adherence
• Provide senior management with detailed reports and insights on portfolio performance and financial forecasts
• Partner with portfolio managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely investment reporting
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, auditors, and regulatory entities on matters related to investment accounting
