Job Description

High Profile has partnered with our client to identify a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant for a long-term contract assignment. This is a part-time, in-office position requiring approximately 24 hours per week and is ideal for someone with solid accounting knowledge and strong transactional experience.

In this role, the Accounting Assistant will support the overall accounting and finance function, contributing to routine accounting activities, the month-end close process, and basic financial reporting tasks. Responsibilities include processing incoming and outgoing mail, scanning and organizing accounting documents, entering revenue and expense data, and managing data and communications with the company’s outsourced accounting provider. Strong general ledger and journal entry experience is required, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional seeking part-time hours while contributing meaningfully to a well-established finance team.

Job Requirements

An Associate’s degree in accounting is preferred but not required. Candidates should have 1–2 years of progressive accounting or accounting-related experience; administrative work is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, is essential.

Jennifer has earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional), and CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) certifications.

Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her amazing daughter and friends, traveling, conquering projects around the house, and keeping up with her 4-legged fur-babies.
