Job Description

High Profile is partnering with a faith-based educational institution to find a Payroll & Human Resources Specialist. This role is perfect for a highly organized individual with a positive customer service attitude who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment.


The Payroll & HR Specialist will be critical in supporting the daily human resources functions and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, contributing to the client's rich culture.


Payroll Administration

  • Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Handle all payroll inquiries, address issues confidentially, and maintain meticulous payroll records.
  • Process employee changes (new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, etc.) and conduct internal payroll audits.
  • Support year-end reporting, including ACA and 1095-Cs.


Human Resources

  • Collaborate with the HR team to enhance efficiency and provide excellent support to employees and vendors.
  • Support the talent acquisition process, including job postings, application review, and creating offer letters.
  • Manage new employee onboarding and offboarding, handling administrative tasks, benefit communications, and required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS and physical departmental files.
  • Assist with policy reviews and organize performance evaluations.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a school, non-profit, or social services environment.
  • SHRM-CP/PHR certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, payroll, benefits, and employment law (local, state, and federal).
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now) and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate integrity, and communicate effectively with diverse groups.

Her background in Human Resources, combined with her keen eye for talent and understanding of her client’s needs, has led to her reputation for excellence within the staffing industry.

Jennifer also serves as High Profile’s Vice President of Talent Acquisition. She is actively involved with DallasHR, as well as the American Staffing Association’s Section Policy Council. Jennifer has earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional), and CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) certifications.

Outside of the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her amazing daughter and friends, traveling, conquering projects around the house, and keeping up with her 4-legged fur-babies.
