High Profile is partnering with our client to identify an experienced, strategic Retail & Insights Senior Analyst to lead advanced analytics and translate complex data into actionable insights. This role will partner across teams to support business growth, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making while mentoring junior analysts. Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives and serve as a trusted strategic advisor to business stakeholders.
Translate complex and ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches.
Develop advanced SQL queries, statistical analyses, and data models.
Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and inefficiencies across business functions.
Design analytical frameworks, tools, and solutions to support strategic decision-making.
Lead process improvements, reporting automation, and data-driven initiatives.
Translate complex findings into clear recommendations and presentations for senior leaders and executives.
Maintain strong knowledge of the organization s data ecosystem and connect insights across business areas.
Mentor junior analysts and promote strong analytical, technical, and communication practices.
Measure and communicate the business impact of analytics-driven improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
4+ years of SQL experience working with large-scale data repositories.
4+ years of experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Sigma, or similar platforms.
4+ years of experience translating data into actionable business recommendations.
Advanced Python experience is a strong plus, but not required.
Advanced SQL, data modeling, statistical analysis, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong business acumen and ability to work across multiple functional areas.
Excellent communication and data visualization skills.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders through data and insights.
Strong leadership mindset with experience mentoring or guiding others.
Highly curious, proactive, self-directed, and committed to accuracy and continuous improvement.
