High Profile has partnered with our client to find an experienced and hands-on Staff Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies. Your primary duties will include entering accounting information into our system, processing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoices, and conducting weekly check runs as needed. You'll be responsible for posting daily cash activities, including wires and ACH transactions, and calculating, reviewing, and processing journal entries. A significant part of the role will involve reconciling a large volume of bank statements each month, maintaining asset registers for accurate depreciation and amortization reporting, and performing balance sheet and account reconciliations to prepare for month-end and quarter-end closing. You will evaluate transactions and record them in the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting. Adherence to lease accounting standards (e.G., ASC 842) will be required where applicable. Additionally, you'll assist in preparing documentation for external CPA firms for annual tax filings and support any audit requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and capable of handling a variety of accounting tasks while ensuring compliance and accuracy. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the accounting department. This will be an in-office role based in Addison during the training period;with flexibility to work remote a few days per week once training is complete.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks Online)
• Net Suite ERP software experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
